A Theatre performance

The Moving On Show FOOD FOR THOUGHT at the school auditorium was a spectacular success. There was only one performance on Tuesday 9^th March at 6pm and half the auditorium -we were told to occupy only the left side of the room- was crowded with students of all ages (16 to 60 plus) and teachers and everyobody enjoyed every minute of the performance.

The set was simple but appropriate and both actors fitted in it. They made a good effect on the public and specially the active acting of both actor and actress was excellent. Their English was perhaps sometimes rather hard to understand by the students, but the gestures they made were a great help when the students found the dialogues difficult to follow, At the same, time their positive acting encouraged the students to take part in the show and demonstrate their humour in English. Therefore, we can say that the highlight of the performance, were not the main actor an actress but the volunteers who went on stage. They became so involved in their roles that the audience split their sides laughing and applauded thunderously.

To sum up, the whole event was well organized, the acting was superb and the students had a terrific time. We expect them to visit us again next year.
