Student Academic Record Transfer
If you have to move to another city and want to continue your studies in your new destination, you must have your Academic File transferred to your new school. Transfers are strictly linked to a continuation of your studies, which means that your Academic record cannot be transferred without any reason.
Procedure:
The student:
- Will ask for conditional registration at the school of destination.
- If given acceptance at the destination, the student will fill in a form at the school of origin together with the document stating that he has been admitted at the school of destination.
The origin school:
- Will send all the required documents to the destination within 10 days:
- personal academic record
- a copy of the transfer form signed by the student
- any other document included in the student personal record
- Will only be charged the taxes officially established for transferring the student’s personal file.
The destination school:
- Will admit the student’s academic request. It will be included in the process of registration legally set by the school.
- Will inform the student of the arrival of all the documents required.
- Will not charge any taxes except for that of registration and student card.
- Transfers are necessarily linked to a continuation of studies.
Live Registration Transfer
Once the course has started the pupil may have to move to another city for personal or professional reasons. In these cases the student can ask for live registration transfer in order to continue studies in another school. The procedure is as follows:
- The pupil will ask for a vacant post at the destination school. Transfer will only be carried out after confirmation of acceptance by the school of destination.
- The school of origin will check all the documents and the academic record of the student. Within the next 10 days, the school of origin will transfer the documents to the new school.
These instructions are applied to live registration transfers for Official Schools belonging to Generalitat Valenciana. Students coming from a different community will have to pay the registration fee.
